Monkey drink 100plus too
A 42.7m (130 feet high) high statue of Lord Murugan was unveiled in January 2006, having taken 3 years to construct. It is the tallest Lord Murugan statue in the world.
Lord Murugan 1
Lord Murugan 3
No idea what God is this?
This what you see after 272 steps
Monkey near stairway
Taking Picture of Picture taking tourist
Lord Muragan 4
Lord Krishan
Ask Renie! she ask me to take this picture (look like hot-dog to me)
God statue on top of the roof arch
Monkey relaxing and posing for me
Steep stairway (ahh going down much easier)
Gateway at entrance to Batu Cave
Koi Fish pond at an Indian Temple
Altar of Indian Gods
Gateway arch at Batu Cave Stairway
I shall go Up with you!
If i m not wrong Batu Cave is a shrine or temple that dedicated to Lord Murugan, at 2006 they decide to build at statue of him. Indeed that statue make me wanted to visit Batu cave everytime i m using MRR2 highway. Maybe that Lord Murugan special aura
So who's Lord Murugan? According to the tablet below the statue he know as God of War. He believe to kill many demon to save those devoted.
Batu Cave is free and there won't be anything charge for climbing the stair unless you want to venture into certain temple, which need to provide some-sort of offering or donation. For those that is driving, getting a parking here kinda confusing or hard. A wrong turn might force you make a big U-turn. Definitely there will be many people making or cheat money here because of the amount of tourist here so becarefull dealing with the people here.
The stair might steep but ain't hard, all one need is time and patient. There like 272 steps, upon reaching up there a few shrine and temple for blessing. One could enjoy breeze coolness of the cave and marvel the beauty of nature. Mostly Indian and tourist visit Batu cave (seen lot of Arab tourist). Took me and my gf roughly about 2 hours taking picture, wondering around and playing with monkey.(she running away from the Monkey) LOL
Monkeys here don't fear human they even snatch item from people especially those with fruit or Can's drink. Maybe that what make them monkey and make us human. Nothing particular exciting apart the statue and monkeys. But for Rm0 i don't think anyone would complaint much.
For anyone that never been to Batu Cave before should give this place a visit. There a strong history and culture hindu community present here and experiencing it first hand woud be very memorable indeed. Paranomic view on-top of the cave is awesome and breathtaking at time
Renie decide not to go Zoo Negara because she tired (stair) and pretty hot. She promise we go Zoo Negara next time. We head to 1Utama to watch GI Joe and visit my favourite burger parlour "Carl's Junior"
p/s: This the first time i visit Batu Cave
Stay tune for my Disneyland post soon, currently editing those picture.

Arrive at my uncle house around 3.25pm, manage to "curi" a can of shandy from his fridge before we head to Klang gate. Upon arriving i spotted the portable toilet, "OH at last this place got a proper toilet" but to my disappointment this toilet will be taken away because it only for the event that happen last week i assume.
We started around 4pm, the weather look great. Getting from Ground zero to Check Point (CP1) took us like 20m and to CP 2 around us 1hour. Upon arriving at CP2, its like 5pm so we decide to scale to CP6 today since the weather is excellent and time is on our side.
Reach CP6 around 6pm and have a long break till 6.20pm. Overall a great and memorable climb especially having great weather and mother nature scenery behind our back, manage to catch a glimpse of sunset while we are heading back. Spectacular scene but too bad with my uncle instead of my girlfriend. Ha ha
Head to Sri Pandii to have our dinner that cost us Rm18.10. What shall i do next week? any suggestion? Kinda tired this time maybe because of carrying those water and the backpack i bring sux
Never see anyone today apart us. First time scaling Bukit tabur without seeing anyone. Guess everyone busy with PC Fair or the Anti ISA march. God Bless Malaysia !
