Life sucks but getting yourself into shit make life even worse. There lot of route and distance for this marathon, but i opt for the worse trail ever that is 42km. Pretty crazy distance when you see everyone that in your group mostly consist of veteran runner and "black" African runner. Plus running with a Rm5.80 shoe don't give your extra point.
Before reaching to Putrajaya, have my routine food, Maggi + cornflake. Can't find my power-bar guess its hidden once i move my house. So crowded and everyone look fit compare to those chubby KL people. Saw load of African runner, guess what the first prize is Rm20k that a lot of money for them.
Start the race quick well, i m chasing the pack but definitely not last even tho nearly. First 15minutes of my run, nature call . To much H20 before the run definitely, find a hidden spot and done my job. After pissing, i m the last runner for this 42km. Holy hell how demoralizing, won't see myself in this position. That like 5km only, but i promise myself i won't quit.
This is the worst thing i have done in my life. After 30km i fell like hell have unleash, feet so freaking sore, thigh cramp like crazy even my toe won't escape the rage. Lucky some foreign runner helped me out. He an Angel send from heaven. Last 5km like taking every ounce of my energy.
Manage to finish the race withing 5hours. That a achievement itself by finishing it but withing 5 hours, WOW that a miracle. I m happy but only after 1 week later when all my muscle ache recover. Can't walk properly for the first 2 days after then run.
Ok when the next marathon.... =D

Beijing welcome you
(picture from wolkowski.wordpress.com but i did edit it)

Four of us will be heading to Beijing the capital of China, after we manage to snap some really cheap ticket that cost us Rm206 per person for return. The downside is we have to wait for more that 1 year before we can head to Beijing. Ticket actually to Tianjin then we would take a bullet train to Beijing (30minutes train ride)
Weather would be around average 13.65c, could possible average low of 7c. Should be a problem for us. Spring is around the corner, my only worry is the desert sand from Gobi dessert blowing toward Beijing.
Been to Beijing two time before this trip but this the first time i be wandering around without a tour guide. I just plain hate those factory visit and time wasting on those useless blood sucking leech factory. Doubt touring Beijing by our self would be hard since Beijing a popular tourist destination and some of us know how to speak mandarin.
Renie will restrain me from turning this trip into a museum tour. So she force me to plan in advance. Definitely i would visit at least 3-4 museum in Beijing, i just love the history and knowing Beijing deeper. Just have to make sure i bring them to Forbidden city, Great Wall and Temple of Heaven. That about it for the UNESCO world heritage site in Beijing that popular.
Visiting Great wall will take at least 1 day, same with forbidden city, Tienanmen square and Temple of heaven. The rest of the 4 days will be my museum tour day. I m so excited and looking forward visiting those. Stay tune for more detail info

Poster For this Night Marathon

I be heading for marathon this coming Saturday at Putra Jaya, distance = 42km. That like a jog from Petaling to Kuala Lumpur. Highly doubt i could finish 42km by 6h because average it will take me like 10 freaking minute for 1km plus some in-between break.
Most importantly i haven't being properly train for this event. Maybe maximum i jog like 10km per week for the past 3 week. Most important item to bring for this marathon is money, so i could call a cab and fetch me back to the choke point.
Recently i done a blood test and the result that came back ain't that nice. Lot of yellow highlight (sigh), particular my blood. Pretty low in white and red cells. Uric acid and cholesterol high than the average level. Blood sugar level only just barely "pass". Most likely i m those people that won't live pass 60.
Another problem is i don't have a proper running shoe for this event. Just only my Adidas kampung that cost rm6.90 compare to those Nike, Adidas n etc that cost at least rm200 for a decent pair of sneaker.
According to this newspaper article http://thestar.com.my/metro/story.asp?file=/2010/1/27/central/5541393&sec=central there would be 8000 participant + Renie because she going to fetch me back so its 8001.Anyhow wish me luck and i promise to finish this 42km even it take me 8hours LOL. GamBateh (really hope there a chicken route in-between)

"I am a happy Man"

Wake up pretty late that day, girlfriend have to work so have to send her to the LRT station before i can fetch BH. Merdeka Marathon ended up in epic failure because of my little morning breakfast again(roti canai make tummy upset). Reached Klang Gates around 9am, can see sun already blessing us with his love (sunstroke soon).
Before we cross the first river saw a few uni student i guess crossing the river. They look pretty lost, i offer to guide them but the reject me "yong shui" and felt dejected. But anyhow i should be happy because they look like beginner because crossing the river took them 10m while it took me and bh merely 5s to cross that river.
In between scaling this little hill i try to go non-stop to check point 1, but i only manage to get to 80% to cp1. (need more practice) Saw 2 group coming down, ooh first time someone its earlier than us. We chat and wave. Bh wanted to dance but he is shy. *just kidding*
We manage to reach cp 6 around 10.30am and weather pretty dark and gloomy. Look like its going to rain soon, but after awhile that cloud seem to move away and heading to KLCC. ZOMG!!!!! Its amazing seeing such huge cloud floating away. God Bless the Merdeka parade at KL
After enjoying the scene and bh taking picture with his new iphone 3gs. We head back and upon reaching to the stair, i tell bh "Let get back and forget about Tabur west, we do it next time" because my leg start to sore and getting late. Enjoy these picture!

I m going to try the achievement of hiking Tabur east and west all in one morning. Its going to be in record time of 4 hours. Can i do it? Stay Tune

Development vs Nature? Development win duh

Arrive at my uncle house around 3.25pm, manage to "curi" a can of shandy from his fridge before we head to Klang gate. Upon arriving i spotted the portable toilet, "OH at last this place got a proper toilet" but to my disappointment this toilet will be taken away because it only for the event that happen last week i assume.
We started around 4pm, the weather look great. Getting from Ground zero to Check Point (CP1) took us like 20m and to CP 2 around us 1hour. Upon arriving at CP2, its like 5pm so we decide to scale to CP6 today since the weather is excellent and time is on our side.
Reach CP6 around 6pm and have a long break till 6.20pm. Overall a great and memorable climb especially having great weather and mother nature scenery behind our back, manage to catch a glimpse of sunset while we are heading back. Spectacular scene but too bad with my uncle instead of my girlfriend. Ha ha
Head to Sri Pandii to have our dinner that cost us Rm18.10. What shall i do next week? any suggestion? Kinda tired this time maybe because of carrying those water and the backpack i bring sux

Never see anyone today apart us. First time scaling Bukit tabur without seeing anyone. Guess everyone busy with PC Fair or the Anti ISA march. God Bless Malaysia !
